A characterful base for exploring Ballarat. Best possible location in the town, walking distance to tourist attractions. Loved it and will be back.

The hotel staff was lovely, rooms were good sized and quiet. It's 10 mins walk to the center. There's nice Hop Temple with shots and cocktails a 10-15 minute walking distance from the property, found it quite by chance.

One could dine at restaurants such as the forge pizzeria 10 minutes away. We loved service and rooms, everything necessary for a holiday was provided❤
